Our engineers started developing solutions for Pocket PCs in 2001 in C++ and Visual Basic and continued developing applications for Smartphone platform when Microsoft released their first Smartphone OS in 2002. There were many fundamental differences between the Smartphone and the PocketPC and our developers had to master both OS to develop and support our products, and our customers' products. The differences continued with Windows Mobile 2003 OS versions. In WM5, Microsoft did a bunch of modifications to create a unified OS but still some big differences in the two platforms exists and it continues to exist in the version 6.0, 6.1 and 6.5. Nevertheless, our engineers continued to master these differences and today our own products and our customers' solutions work equally well on all versions of Windows Mobile.
